Sam is a mischievous teen. She loves to get into people’s faces and annoy them with her cheerful, happy go lucky personality. She is really clumsy and trips over often. She gets along best with her magnemite, Nutz who shares the same happy attitude. Sam is easily insulted and will argue her point even if she is wrong due to her stubbornness. She tends to get along better with playful Pokémon more than humans. She she’s the bright side to everything and takes nothing serious. Sam is very blunt and states everything whether it’s insulting or not. She can get very greedy and is envious of trainers stronger than she. She has no real goals as of yet.

History:
Sam growing up in Azalea Town had access to Ilex Forest and slowpoke well. Her childhood was pretty basic she went to school and did what her parents told her too. Samantha had a large sense of imagination and adventure. She and her friends would often go camping In Ilex Forest she took it upon herself to lead them but she often got them lost but they all knew if Sam leads they end up in an area they've never been before. She met all her Pokémon by chance and she doesn’t believe in fate or destiny; there’s what you do and what you don’t do.
Growing up she had a under brother by 2 years. He was everything she wasn’t. He was smart and sophisticated. Relationship wise Sam had a close bond with her Dad, they both shared a sense of discovery over knowledge. While Jack and his mum preferred logical responses and reasoning. It was because of her mum that she hasn’t left home yet. She has been out side of her area and town a few times on business trips with her dad but other than that she hasn’t journeyed on her own.
Sam was in slowpoke well trying to catch herself a slowpoke when she was interrupted by a Wingull before she knew it she was transported to some weird place thus beginning her first journey.

History: Sam was exploring through Ilex forest, she had lost a bet too her friends and because of that she had to spend one night in Ilex Forest by herself with only Nutz by her side. When woke up during the night to a sound of scratching she stumbled across a spinarak going through her bag for food, her immediate reaction was to fight and catch it. Since a spinarak could help her get her friends back for leaving her in this forest. However due to his timid and lonely nature he would stand none of that, the only reason she took him to this competition was to build his confidence.

History: She was the runt of the litter; she was bred to be a top Magnezone however compared to her brothers and sisters she received the lowest score in a test, because of that. Sam’s received Nutz as a gift from a passerby trying to release the stubborn Pokémon in her town. Nutz and Sam get along like twins they hardly fight. Nutz was one of the first pokemon she ever got, she has a close bond with this pokemon and she wants her to evolve at Nutz’s own pace.

Strongest Stat: Heath points, Pride is a very loyal pokemon towards his naïve trainer Sam, whenever they ventured off to close by routes, Pride would challenge any wild pokemon to become stronger and defend his own Pride. He would refuse to dodge in order to make himself more powerful
Weakest Stat: Special Defence, He was born with bad special defence and he knows that, he wanted to focus on that he was best at which his HP and special attack.

On a family Camping trip Sam and her father went fishing. Her dad pulled up a silly old Poliwag and Sam instantly fell in love with his round body and large eyes. Wanting it her father caught him for her. Pride was Sam first Pokémon and even though they are opposite the both highly respect each other. Pride sees himself as the leader of the team.
