Adrian is overall a laid back guy, the blood on his hands bother him constantly but he chooses to bottle those emotions up. He considers himself to sophisticated and somewhat arrogant due to his aristocratic upbringing this hints in his voice mannerisms as he tends to be extremely sarcastic. He is overly confident and cocky with his skills and strength in battle even though he isn't that strong but his undying willpower mixed with his skill and intelligence is a dangerous mix. Due to the conniving and backstabbing of his family He tends to be awkward around others, choosing to try and involve himself unable to read and talk to people he doesn't know. Because of this his joking and cheeryness make him look unprofessional and even rude. He has trust issues and he rarely trust anybody often mistaking kindness for a way to wear him down for betrayal.
It isn't uncommon for him to spent his time with the soldiers honing his own abilities and training others, only on the battlefield is where Adrian feels most comfortable an relaxed. He avoids paperwork like the plague and leaves reports and such to his assistant. Adrian will only complain and moan when stuck in his office. Being in tight spaces only increases his anxiety and paranoia for betrayal. He much rather wants to be out in the open. Due to this his palace is extremely spacious with plenty of windows and corridors.
He is slowly being brought to madness by his dragon half, he is beginning to show the temper he had in his youth, become more edgy and even more paranoid then he was before.
Adrian was born the younger brother of twins both guardians and you guessed it his brother was born Zekrom. Their father was the previous leader of the Flame Kingdom. Growing up they had it easy when it came to shelter, food, education etc. Adrian’s brother Jasper show more persistence in studies above all else while Adrian show his talent during battle. The two were almost inseparable. As a child Adrian was extremely hot tempered and his brother usually had to calm him down when things got to out of control. Adrian was more rebellious then his brother too and wasn’t was willing for following the rules.
As they reached 16 them, like all guardians, had access to their powers, having been born into royalty they had the privilege of being taught and preparing their use of their power from the day they could walk which once they awoken they already had nice grip on them. It was clear from day one that Jasper was more leadership material than Adrian, not that Adrian had a problem with that at all, in fact he’d prefer it that way he didn’t want to rule the kingdom it was too much effort. This meant their father spent more time on Jasper but occasionally Adrian would join them on a lesson of kingship every once in a while. He showed them also the ‘The Draco Prophetia’. Though it hadn’t been opened at this stage. What Adrian didn’t know was the law’s on a legendary ruler, only 2 maybe active at one time, a ruler and his successor. Adrian was left out of this little loop for the longest of time. He found out when was eavesdropping on a supposedly private conversation. When he heard the news, he was furious and kept on high alert from then on, he also put on that he had no idea but began preparing for day he was told by studying up on the laws and traditions in secret.
Their father had told Jasper that the day he would announce him as his heir and successor to the throne would be on his 18th birthday and he should start mentally and physically preparing himself for the death of his twin.
The day had finally come 2 years later on their 18th birthday. Their father made the speech in which Adrian so longingly wished never came. His father would pick Jasper and he would end up dead, so he had a plan prepare it was rarely used these days but it still counted. If a criminal was deemed guilty or innocent for a crime they may or may not have commit he had the chance to escape penalty by battling to the death by a man of the king’s wishes. Also known as “The defiance of Transgression” but since the king would always chose a solider of high training the idea was hardly ever used, forgotten even but still considered a part of the law.
By using the “The defiance of Transgression” Adrian presented himself to the king, and knowing the King he would had to use Jasper otherwise the townsfolk would grow suspicious and Adrian knew his father well, he was all for publicity and protecting his image. Jasper and Adrian were pitted against each other in a fight to the death after a tedious battle, Adrian’s natural talent in battle outweighed his brother’s ability to carefully predict his opponent’s move, because after all no-one can really predict a move in battle. His father was destroyed to see his precious flesh and blood a corpse. Afterwards their father attempted many times to kill his son ‘on accident’. If he couldn’t have the heir he wanted than he would rather no heir. Adrian figured this would happen and got his mother involved, she gave him the love to make up for his father’s reject. Working together, the managed to poison him and made out that it was an assassin. Once Adrian accepted his crown, he had his mother killed for she was just as untrusting as the rest of his family. No-one questioned the death of his mother, thinking it was the same person that killed his father. Apart from his human grandparents Adrian is the only known ‘Linheart’ still alive with royal blood.
His daggers are fire proof made from alloy of the strongest metals around, the crystals shine represents how much energy the young leader has. He ranges in close combat but able to shoot flames at distance foes.
- Adrian's favourite place in his kingdom is the "hot spring falls" He often comes here alone when avoiding people paper work or to calm his nerves. It is a public area however most people know to leave him alone when he comes there.
